Architecture was the world's first broadcast communications medium, but in the modern era, the profession abandoned its narrative approach in favor of material exploration, tectonic expression, performance models, and spatial abstraction. Could a return to architectural storytelling reconnect the profession with the public and influence society for the better? The barrier to meaningful architecture isn't always architectural. More often, it's behavioral. This session explores opportunities for architects to blend design with storytelling and behavior science.
