Recent technological innovations in engineered wood products and building systems have enabled the construction of tall, multi-story structures, turning buildings into carbon sinks rather than sources for CO2 emissions. This session presents compelling arguments for the increased use of wood as a renewable and sustainable building material, with the goal of demonstrating that an integrated approach can have the potential for positive impact on the environment, local economies, and the building culture at large.
