Description
Austin’s South Central Waterfront Master Plan will guide an estimated $2 billion of redevelopment along Lady Bird Lake directly across from downtown. The plan will build a new, connected public realm of green streets, parks, and open spaces, and includes market-based strategies to fund the new district, including affordable housing. This session explores the urban design vision and shares the financial strategies for transforming an underutilized district into a beautiful, sustainable, and equitable urban neighborhood.

*Course marked "SD" may qualify for Sustainable Design for the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners.
