Description
The sound of a room or other space can either enhance or detract from an experience. Acoustics is often overlooked in the design of a space, even though the ability to hear, converse, and feel comfortable matters a great deal to those using it. The relationship between a space and the people in it is directly related to an acoustic signature. Participants will learn common sense items to consider when designing venues ranging from restaurants to auditoriums, to nursing homes.

*Course marked "SD" may qualify for Sustainable Design for the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners.
