Description
Initiatives to increase women in the profession need to occur before the workplace; reaching girls at a young age can encourage careers in architecture. Exposure, Role Models, and Outreach will each be explored as case studies in this effort. Existing successful programs – such as those encouraging girls towards STEM – will be highlighted, as well as interviews from architectural leaders and innovative educators. Finally the group will discuss where more work is needed, and next steps.
