Description
The Branch Waters Network is a concept to use the entire watershed network in Dallas-Fort Worth to congregate strands of urbanism along a vast network of water branches. In lieu of 19th century pattern books, this planning notion is driven by a cultural impulse for nature and has gained national attention. The seminar begins with a history of urban form, characteristics of mega cities and concludes with a set of case studies that demonstrate applications for individual and multi-building projects.
