Architects, engineers, and consultants often look back on the construction process as a series of harried compromises. Integrated design followed by integrated project delivery (IPD) offers a path to confidently achieving project goals, improving both satisfaction and outcomes. This panel discussion will define concepts and benefits of IDP, contrasting an integrated versus a segregated construction process. We will discuss ways to support IPD, including shared accountability and decision-making, appropriate contracts, and an outcome focus.

*Course marked "SD" may qualify for Sustainable Design for the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners.
