Description
“Sustainability” has reached a threshold. Codes are changing quickly, but community and client perception of the need for change is shifting. Increasing costs and complexity and decreasing interest in renewable energy are counter to architectural advancements in the last 20 years. Architects are uniquely qualified to address, through “coaching,” these environmental issues facing our communities. How can we best engage? This session explores pressures on our practice in light of these public policy issues.

*Courses marked "SD" may qualify for Sustainable Design for the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners.
